Most Improved

From its inception in 2006, the Most Improved Performance award (the MSM Trophy) is awarded annually to the competitor who has bettered their previous best time by the greatest margin. Their previous best time does not need to be the prervious year; it could be from any year. If for example, a competitor last raced five years ago, races again this year and beats their previous best time by hours, they would be in with a good chance of winning this trophy.

The recipient of this award cannot be determined until all finishers have crossed the finish line on Douglas promenade.
